What Is a Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearing?

Single row cylindrical roller bearing is a kind of bearing widely used in mechanical equipment. It consists of inner ring, outer ring, cylindrical roller and cage. Its cylindrical rollers are in complete contact with the inner and outer rings, so they can withstand large radial loads.

N series bearings:There are ribs on both sides of the inner ring, and there are no ribs on the outer ring.

NJ series bearings:Have two integral flanges on the outer ring and one on the inner ring.

NU series bearings: Have two integral flanges on the outer ring and no flanges on the inner ring.

NUP type bearings: There are ribs on both sides of the outer ring, a fixed rib on one side of the inner ring, and a detachable flat ring on the other side.

Application of Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

1. Automobile transmission bearings and engine support shaft bearings: Bear various loads during automobile movement and have excellent reliability and durability;

2.Machine tool spindle bearings: Bear large radial load and certain axial load;

3.Heavy machinery bearings: Single row cylindrical roller bearings compared with ball bearings of the same size, the radial load capacity is increased by 1.5-3 times, with good rigidity and impact resistance.

What Is the Difference Between Single and Double Roller Bearings?

Single row cylindrical roller bearings have one row of rollers and are suitable for applications where radial and axial loads are relatively low. Double row cylindrical roller bearings have two rows and are used in applications where higher loads are expected or where higher levels of reliability are required.

What Are the Types of Cage Materials for Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings? What Are Their Characteristics?

Steel retainer: High strength, light material;

Brass cage: It has high tensile strength, but relatively low density and high limit speed;

Polyamide (nylon) cage: The advantages of high elasticity and light weight make this cage have very good sliding and self-lubricating properties.
